The Myths Surrounding Kateryn Parr

As a queen consort of England, Kateryn Parr’s history is often overshadowed by the events that allegedly occurred between her husband and Lady Elizabeth. The Victorian historians didn’t help her reputation either. Agnes Strickland’s Lives of the Queens of England depicts Parr as having an ‘unrivaled skill as a nurse‘.

Today I am joined by Dr. Linda Porter to get a feel for the real Kateryn Parr. Dr. Porter responds to many of the myths about Parr, as well as interesting stories about her life.
