Episode 116: Stephen and Matilda with Matt Lewis

This is the first episode in my off-season, but Steph has been kind enough to carry the torch over the next seven episodes. She has a great line-up of guests planned for her Ask the Expert, so keep an eye on social media to leave your queries.

On this episode, historian/author Matthew Lewis answers your questions on Stephen and Matilda. If you love the drama of Tudor history you will love this story as well.

Interview with Author and Historian, Nicola Tallis

On this episode of the Tudors Dynasty Podcast I welcome one of my favorite authors – Nicola Tallis. Nicola and I talk about Lady Jane Grey, Lettice Knollys and Margaret Beaufort. Three amazing woman from our favorite dynasty.

I’ll put Nicola on the spot about Margaret being responsible for the princes in the Tower, and whether she had been pushing her son to the throne all along. She’ll tell us what amazing things we will find out about Margaret from this new research.

Be sure to stick around to find out what she has in common with Dan Jones.

A Brief History: Margaret Douglas with Rosie Parent

A Brief History is a supplement episode of the Tudors Dynasty Podcast. On this episode I welcome a fellow podcaster, Rosie Parent, host of the History, Eh? podcast. I love that name so much!

Today, Rosie’s subject  is Margaret Douglas. You might know Margaret best as the daughter of Henry VIII’s eldest sister, or maybe as the mother of Lord Darnley…but as usual,  I’m going to let someone who has done more research on her life do the talking…and with that I’d like to welcome Rosie to the show….
